Your peeler definitely has a cute, whale-like look. The organic shape and roundness of it also makes it look so comfortable to use. How it curves and sits on the table make this product really interesting and easy to pick up.

Hey, I remember how from the beginning you wanted to make a peeler to be used the same as a pen because its more comfortable. I really think you have come a long way, the shape to maintain the pen style of use, and also improve comfort. I like your selection of colour white because suits the kitchen. I get the whale idea with the fins etc thats clever.

If you had to improve I would maybe consider not having such a huge contrast between the tool and the background for your hero shot. Another student in our class put a kitchen table and cupboard shot behind his tool for the background, it looked good.

it should be very comfortable to handle. lol~
for me, the shape is pretty nice, friendly, attractive and i can see the difference with other existing peelers...but it might challenge people's understanding of general peelers.haha.
btw, the choice of colour is very smart~
overall, i would like to buy one as a consumer :)

From the concepts to the final model, this was a really long way. and I know you were really hard working for project one. so you made it, the whale-shaped peeler in white color.

but i have some advices for your design here. the thumb rest should be bigger and the edge for it needs to be much more smooth not that sharp, because on your model it just looks like a little concave. and for me, i prefer the smaller handle, because when i hold it is not that comfortable. (but maybe that is the size of my hand hahahaha)

anyway, it is a good product. keep going~

Adding possible improvements:

Maybe it could be shaped in a way so that when rested on a surface, the peeler blade will not come in contact with it? This would make it more hygienic and add to the pleasure aspect of the product :)

adding comment.

maybe your peeler part is too thin too easy to broke. because we were making our model together. so...maybe you can make your peeler part more thicker and strong. beside, i like your idea.you done a good job.

for the improvement, maybe your shape of the head can be a little bit straight...not that curve... or maybe for the handle, you can make it like mat surface, not polished, so it's skidproof.
